Nola was born on June 4, 1993, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is presently a Major League Baseball pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies in the United States. When he had a pitching record comparison with the likes of Cole Hamels, Cliff Lee, and others early in his career, he was called the Phillies ace.
