Aaron Jacob Sanchez is a professional baseball pitcher now employed by the Minnesota Twins organization. Sanchez was born in the United States on July 1, 1992.

His former teams in Major League Baseball were the San Francisco Giants, the Houston Astros, and the Toronto Blue Jays. His first season in Major League Baseball came in 2014, after being selected by the Blue Jays in the first round of the 2010 Major League Baseball draft.

Sanchez was regarded as the third greatest prospect in the Blue Jays’ organization by Major League Baseball in 2015, and he was listed as the 44th top prospect in all of baseball.

Lynn Shipley (née Gesky) gave birth to Sanchez in Barstow, California. While pregnant with Aaron, she dumped his biological father, Frank Sanchez.

Lynn eventually married Mike Shipley, a California Angels draft pick in the fourth round of the 1976 draft. The injury to Shipley’s left shoulder terminated his pitching career, and he went on to coach at Barstow Community College.
