Adam Kolarek Children: Does Adam Kolarek Have Any Kids?

Kolarek returned to the Tampa Bay Rays organization on March 27, 2017, after signing a minor league contract. To begin the season, he was assigned to Triple-A Durham.



On June 28, 2017, Kolarek got called up to the majors for the first time. Kolarek, who is 28 years old, made his major league debut at PNC Park, pitching 1.1 innings on 14 pitches, allowing one hit and striking out one batter.

Tampa Bay designated Kolarek for assignment on September 3 after he struggled to a 6.48 ERA in 12 appearances in his debut season.



The next day, he was outrighted to Durham. Kolarek did not make the team out of spring training in 2018 and began the season with Triple-A Durham.

Kolarek was promoted to the active roster on July 6, 2018, after pitching in 29 games for Durham and posting a 1.70 ERA.

In 2018, he appeared in 31 games, recording two saves and a 3.93 ERA. In 54 games with the Rays in 2019, he went 4–2 with a 3.95 ERA.

 

The Rays traded Kolarek to the Los Angeles Dodgers on July 31, 2019, in exchange for minor leaguer Niko Hulsizer.

 

In 2019, he pitched in 26 games with the Dodgers, recording two wins and a 0.77 ERA in 112/3 innings.

He went 3–0 with one save in the pandemic-shortened 2020 season. He pitched in 20 games for a 0.95 ERA, allowing only two runs in 19 innings.

As the Dodgers won the 2020 World Series, he pitched in four postseason games, pitching 3+13 innings and surrendering three runs. Kolarek won his first World Series championship with the victory.
