For the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League, Adetokunbo Ogundeji happens to be an outside linebacker. He is 122 kg in weight and 1.93 m tall. He had originally decided to play collegiate football at Western Michigan after graduating from high school.
He had 17 pass breakups, four recovered fumbles, nine sacks, and 68 tackles as a junior. After receiving further recruiting, he ultimately decided against attending Western Michigan. He committed to playing football for the University of Notre Dame’s Fighting Irish squad.
During his debut season, he participated in the scout team but did not play in any games. First seeing significant playing time in his junior year, he had a productive season with 25 total stops, three tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles. In his final year, he made 34 stops, seven stops for a loss, 4.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, and one fumble.
He made the decision to remain for a fifth season after his senior year. He recorded seven sacks in his final season. Ogundeji was chosen by the Atlanta Falcons with the 182nd overall pick in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He signed a four-year rookie contract with the Falcons on June 15, 2021.
