At the time, he was a member of the Ciego de Avila of the Cuban National Series. He joined the Yomiuri Giants of the Nippon Professional Baseball League in 2016 as a Cuban national.



St. Louis Cardinals invited Garcia to spring training in February 2017 after he defected from Cuba in 2016.

He hit.290 with 15 home runs and 65 RBIs between the Springfield Cardinals and Memphis Redbirds of the Class AAA Pacific Coast League in his final season.

Adolis made his Major League Baseball debut with the Memphis Grizzlies in 2018 and appeared in 112 games for the club. He had a batting average. 256 with 22 home runs, 71 RBIs, and ten stolen bases in 21 games for the St. Louis Cardinals, and he hit just.118 in that time frame.

Garcia will be relocating to the Lone Star State in 2019. Garcia had just six at-bats in 2020 for the Rangers and was hitless.

During his time in Cuba, he competed in the Cuban National Series and later defected to play in MLB for the Atlanta Braves (MLB).

Ciego de vila was Garcia’s first appearance in the Cuban National Series. Garcia began his career as a shortstop in the Cuban National Series before moving on to various infield and outfield positions.

Due to falsified residency documentation, Major League Baseball (MLB) ordered Garcia unable to sign for the next six months.

Four days later, he signed with the Atlanta Braves and was sent to the International League’s Gwinnett Braves.
