A Major League Baseball pitcher from Cuba, named Adrian Morejón Garcia presently competes for the San Diego Padres. On February 27, 1999, he was born.

He debuted in the MLB in 2019. When Morejón represented the Cuban baseball team in the 15U Baseball World Cup in 2014, he was chosen as the competition’s most valuable player.

The incident happened in 2014. He participated in the Cuban National Series that year while playing with the Huracanes de Mayabeque. Morejón escaped from Cuba in October 2015.

His family relocated to the Dominican Republic, and Major League Baseball declared him eligible to become a free agent in July 2016.

In July of 2016, Morejón signed a contract with the San Diego Padres that included a signing bonus of 11 million dollars. 2017 was the year he made his debut in the professional ranks,

making appearances for both the Tri-City Dust Devils and the Fort Wayne TinCaps. In 2018, he played for both the Lake Elsinore Storm and the Amarillo Soda Poodles.

In July of 2019, he was called up to the main leagues to begin his career. The 2019 All-Star Futures Game will feature him as a participant.

After having Tommy John’s surgery in April 2021, it was determined that Morejón would miss the remainder of the season due to his injury.
