Alek Manoah Height: How Tall Is Alek Manoah?

Because the game on May 26th was rained out, he made his debut on May 27th, beginning the opening game of a doubleheader against the New York Yankees at New Yankee Stadium.

He was only the second player from the 2019 draft to make it to the big leagues, following Andrew Vaughn, who did it earlier in the season.

He was given the unusual (for a pitcher) number 6, which he had previously won in the amateur ranks.

He tossed six shutout innings before handing the ball over to Jordan Romano with a 2-0 lead in the third inning, thanks to back-to-back homers by Marcus Semien and Bo Bichette.

In the seventh inning, Romano retired the Yankees in order to seal the victory.

While he wasn’t as dominant in his next few outings, he did provide the Blue Jays with respectable performances to solidify his spot in the starting rotation, as they won three of his first four starts and only lost to the Boston Red Sox by a score of 2-1.

Despite facing the lowly Baltimore Orioles on June 19th, he gave up 5 runs in 3 1/3 innings and was thrown after plunking Maikel Franco after giving up back-to-back homers to Ryan Mountcastle and DJ Stewart.
