Alexander James Jackson, a professional baseball catcher and outfielder with the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball, was born on December 25, 1995, in the United States.

He had previously played for the Miami Marlins and Atlanta Braves. He was selected by the Seattle Mariners in the first round of the MLB draft in 2014, and he played for the Braves when he made his MLB debut in 2019.

The top hitter selected by Major League Baseball in 2014 was widely regarded as being Jackson. He was taken by the Seattle Mariners with the sixth overall choice in the first round. On June 23, he joined the Mariners.



On November 28, 2016, the Mariners dealt Rob Whalen and Max Povse to the Atlanta Braves in exchange for Jackson and Tyler Pike. Jackson played with the Florida Fire Frogs to start the 2017 campaign before being promoted to the Mississippi Braves later in the year.

In 96 games for both teams, he hit.267/.328/.480 with 19 home runs and 65 RBIs.

Jackson was exchanged for Adam Duvall by the Miami Marlins on July 30, 2021.
