Alexander David Kirilloff, professionally called Alex Kirilloff happens to be an American-born professional baseball player. He plays the position of an outfielder for the Minnesota Twins baseball team. He was born on November 9, 1997, in Plum, Pennsylvania in the USA.
Alex attended Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School but played baseball at Plum High School in Plum, Pennsylvania. In the summer of 2015, he played in the Perfect Game All-American Classic at Petco Park and won the event’s home run, Derby. After high school, he wanted to play college baseball at Liberty University but he chose to play professional baseball when he was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the first round of the 2016 MLB draft.
He made his professional debut that year with the Elizabethton Twins where he earned the Appalachian League MVP honours. He did not play in 2017 due to an injury but returned in 2018 and was assigned to play with the Cedar Rapids Kernels. He was promoted to the Fort Myers Miracle during the season.
The Twins selected him to play in the 2019 off-season of the Arizona Fall League for the Salt River Rafters. The Twins selected his contract and promoted him to the major leagues in September 2020 and he made his MLB debut on September 30, 202,0 for the team.
