Andre Dillard is currently in his fourth season with the Philadelphia Eagles. The offensive tackle was initially drafted by the Eagles 22nd overall in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Dillard started off his football career at Woodinville High School in the Washington town of Woodinville. Due to his performance, Dillard earned a couple of awards to his name. He was voted the King County 4A offensive lineman of the year. He was also named to the All-King County First Team.
Dillard had a fantastic collegiate career at Washington State University, where he competed for the Washington State Cougars from 2014 until 2018.
Dillard’s first year at Washington State was spent as a redshirt, and he participated in just three games at left tackle during his freshman season.
Prior to Dillard’s junior season, strength coach Marco Candido repositioned him as the team’s starting left tackle in order to replace Joe Dahl. Over the course of the subsequent two seasons, he started every game at left tackle for a total of 26 games.
Dillard has had a hard time living up to the standards that were set for him, and he has reportedly been available for trade for the past few years.
In 2023, Dillard will be eligible to sign a free-agent contract without any restrictions.
