Andrew Benintendi has been touted as one of the best baseballs left fielders in Major League Baseball, Currently, he plays for the Kansas City Royals where he bats left and throws right.

Benintendi was drafted in the first round of the 2015 Major League Baseball draft by the Red Sox, and he made his MLB debut in 2016.

He received a $3.6 million signing bonus when he signed with the Red Sox. Benintendi made his professional debut with the Lowell Spinners of the New York–Penn League’s Class A-Short Season.

Andrew concluded the 2015 season with the Class A Greenville Drive, appearing in 19 games and hitting 26/74 (.351) with an OPS of 1.011.

On May 15, he was promoted to the Portland Sea Dogs of the Class AA Eastern League, where he opened the 2016 season with the Salem Red Sox of the Class A-Advanced Carolina League.
