Andrew Chafin Children: Does Andrew Chafin Have Any Kids?

Andrew Chafin has joined a group of pitchers that have made the Detroit Tigers’ bullpen one of the best in baseball during the first two and a half weeks of the season.

Chafin has been rehabbing a groin ailment that kept him out of spring training. On Tuesday, he was activated from the disabled list ahead of the Tigers’ three-game series with the Minnesota Twins.

During his absence, the Tigers’ bullpen has pitched to a 2.30 ERA in 66 2/3 innings, striking out 57 batters while walking only 23.

Chafin expressed his pleasure. He stated, “Hopefully, we can improve the figures even more.”

When Chafin signed a two-year, $13 million deal with the Tigers during spring training, that was the hope.

Last season, Chafin had a 1.83 ERA in 68 2/3 innings pitched for two teams. He’s not overpowering, but he does strike out a lot. He has a reputation for keeping the ball in the park and on the ground.

Tigers manager A.J. Hinch stated, “We’re going to get him in there as quickly as we can.” “I’m not sure if his first start will be in leverage) the scenario in the seventh, eighth, or ninth inning, but you can’t control everything.”
