During his final two years of college, Stueber started 20 games. During his time with the Wolverines, he played in a total of 34 games, starting 22 of them at right tackle or right guard.
The Patriots drafted Stueber and immediately negotiated a conventional four-year contract with him; however, only the fully guaranteed $20,900 signing bonus prorated for the 2022 season is presently being counted against the team’s salary cap.
After all, his total cap number does not meet the requirements for Top-51 designation and will only become significant during the regular season. Including his $705,0000 salary would push the cap hit up to $725,900 if he is still on the 53-man roster at that time.
