Andrew Jude Vasquez is an American professional baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Toronto Blue Jays of Major League Baseball.
He was born in the United States on September 14, 1993 (MLB). Vasquez received his secondary education at Los Osos High School, which is located in Rancho Cucamonga, California.
He then went on to play collegiate baseball at the University of California, Santa Barbara and Westmont College. However, he did not sign with the Kansas City Royals after being selected by them in the 44th round of the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft.
Previous teams that Vasquez has played for include the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Minnesota Twins. In the 32nd round of the 2015 Major League Baseball Draft, the Minnesota Twins selected him, and he subsequently signed with the team.
During the offseason of the 2017 baseball season, he was a member of the Surprise Saguaros of the Arizona Fall League. On September 1, 2018, Vasquez received his first promotion to the major leagues after being called up.
He was sent to the Los Angeles Dodgers in exchange for Stevie Berman on the 31st of August, 2021.
