Andy Ibáez Velázquez is a Cuban infielder who plays for the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball. He is a professional baseball player (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2021.

During the 2013 World Baseball Classic, Ibáez competed for the Cuban national baseball team. His team, Isla de la Juventud, competed in the Cuban National Series.

On November 1, 2014, he left Cuba for the United States to seek a baseball career in the Major Leagues. The Texas Rangers signed him to a minor league contract on July 7, 2015.

As a member of the Hickory Crawdads and Frisco RoughRiders in 2016, Ibáez made his major league baseball debut.

As a Triple-A minor league baseball player in 2018, he represented the Round Rock Express of the Pacific Coast League (PCL).

He missed all of the spring training in 2019 due to a strained right oblique but returned to the field on April 6 after being sent to the Nashville Sounds.

Because of the COVID-19 epidemic, the Minor League Baseball season was cancelled in 2020.
