Anthony Brown Contract, Salary and Net Worth

Anthony Brown

Although Anthony Brown has broken ribs and a punctured lung, he has attempted to continue playing for the Dallas Cowboys (twice).

Anthony Brown will try to continue playing for Dallas despite having a deal that makes him expendable at least temporarily, as the start of the NFL business year on March 16 draws near and the Cowboys need to go under the 2022 salary ceiling.

Brown, who is currently 28 and has been a starting cornerback for most of his tenure in Dallas since being chosen in the sixth round of the 2016 draft, is a “possibility” as a cap casualty, while also suggesting that the organization might go back and try to re-sign him after his release.

Brown will get $5 million as his base salary, and $6.5 million will be deducted from his cap hit as he enters the final year of his $15.5 million deal, which he signed in 2020.

His release would save Dallas $5 million in cap space and leave only $1.5 million in dead money, given the team is currently approximately $21 million above the cap.
