Anthony Gose Parents: Meet Steve Gose and Malinda Gose

Anthony Gose happens to be one of the professional baseball players with the Cleveland Indians baseball team. Anthony plays as a pitcher for the team and earns $702,900 as an annual salary from the Indians.

Anthony played baseball for the baseball team at Bellflower High School in Bellflower. The University of Arizona awarded him with a baseball scholarship when he completed high school but he chose to sign with the Philadelphia Phillies when they selected him in the 2nd round of the 2008 draft. 

The Phillies gave him $772,000 as a signing bonus. He made his professional debut the following season with the Lakewood BlueClaws of the Class A South Atlantic League (SAL). He spent 2010 with the Clearwater Threshers of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League (FSL).

The Phillies traded his contract to the Houston Astros in July 2010. The Astros also traded him that very moment to the Toronto Blue Jays. In 2011,  MLB.com ranked him as the Blue Jay’s fifth-best prospect. That year, he played for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats of the Double-A Eastern League (EL).

Anthony made his MLB debut on July 17, 2012, for the Toronto Blue Jays. In December 2017, the Houston Astros selected him in the Rule 5 draft. He signed with the Cleveland Indians in December 2018.
