Antonio Hamilton is known to be an American professional football player who plays as cornerback for the Arizona Cardinals football team in the NFL. He is 1.83 m tall and 88 kg in weight. He went to Strom Thurmond High School, where he played football in high school. Additionally, he participated in collegiate football for the South Carolina State Bulldogs at South Carolina State University.
His 33 games played over three seasons included 73 tackles, one sack, four interceptions, and nine passes defensed. Additionally, he returned 23 punts for 498 yards and two touchdowns in addition to returning 33 kickoffs for 818 yards. He was named All-Conference as a junior return specialist. In May 2016, the Oakland Raiders signed undrafted free agent Hamilton to a contract.
He was released by the Raiders on September 1st, 2018. The New York Giants picked him up off waivers the following day. Before being put on injured reserve in December 2018 due to a quad injury, he participated in 13 games. In March 2020, he signed a contract with the Kansas City Chiefs.
He joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in May 2021, however as part of the team’s final roster cuts, he was released on August 30, 2021. Hamilton joined the Arizona Cardinals practice squad in September 2021. On September 29, 2021, he received a promotion to the active roster. Hamilton re-signed with the Cardinals in April 2022.
