Aramis Garcia plays professional baseball as a catcher for the Cincinnati Reds baseball team. He had his high school career at Pembroke Pines Charter High School in Pembroke Pines, Florida after which he enrolled at the Florida International University where played college baseball for the Panthers.

He played collegiate summer baseball with the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod Baseball League in 2012 and 2013. He was named the Conference USA Baseball Player of the Year in 2014. During the 2014 MLB draft, the San Francisco Giants selected him in the 2nd round of the draft. Aramis signed with the Giants and received a $1.1 million signing bonus.

He made his professional debut that year after he was assigned to play for both the AZL Giants and the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes. He spent the 2015 season playing for the Augusta GreenJackets of the Class A South Atlantic League where he was named a midseason All-Star. He was given a midseason promotion to the San Jose Giants of the Class A-Advanced California League.

The Giants added him to their 40-man roster before the 2018 season began. He made his MLB debut on August 31, 2018, for the San Francisco Giants after he was promoted to the Sacramento River Cats of the Class AAA Pacific Coast League. The Texas Rangers claimed him off of waivers from the Giants in November 2020.

In February 2021, the Rangers traded him to the Oakland Athletics. That same year in November, he signed a minor league contract with the Cincinnati Reds baseball team.
