Archie Bradley Height: How Tall Is Archie Bradley?

In 2011, Archie Bradley was drafted in the top ten. Beginning in 2017, he became a powerful reliever in the desert, thanks to his large bushy beard.

As a high school senior, Bradley was 12-1 with a 0.29 ERA and 133 strikeouts against 11 walks in 71 1/3 innings. On the radar gun, his fastball reached 100 mph, and his curveball was considered strong.

When the Arizona Diamondbacks selected him 7th overall in the 2011 amateur draft, he had made a commitment to play quarterback for the Oklahoma Sooners.

Following his friend Dylan Bundy, he was the second high school pitcher chosen. He was also Arizona’s second pick; they had picked Trevor Bauer at #3 but had an additional pick because Barret Loux had not been signed in 2010.

While the possibility of becoming a major star at Oklahoma enticed him, he picked baseball over football because of “how much faster your body goes down in football.”

Bradley was signed by scout Kyle Denney and made his professional debut with the Missoula Osprey in 2011, throwing in just two games.

In 2012, he was assigned to the Midwest League’s South Bend Silver Hawks, where he went 12-6 with a 3.84 ERA in 27 starts, pitching 136 innings and striking out 152 batters. Control was his one flaw, as he was given 84 walks.
