He was voted All-State Player of the Year by The Oklahoman after leading Broken Arrow to the state championship during his senior year and pitching the team to the title.

After being taken seventh overall by the Diamondbacks in the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft during his senior year of high school, Bradley began his first full season of professional baseball with the Class A South Bend Silver Hawks.

In 2013 and 2014, Bradley continued to advance through the Diamondbacks’ farm system. However, general manager Kevin Towers resisted a push from Bradley’s agent to send the pitcher to the major leagues early. Towers argued that it would put too much pressure on the young pitcher to be asked to contribute to the Diamondbacks’ starting rotation.
