Hambright played his first two years of collegiate football at Garden City Community College after graduating from Belleville as a non-star recruit. The Chicago Bears selected Hambright in the seventh round (226th overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft after trading two first-round picks (Josh Jacobs and Damon Arnette) to the Las Vegas Raiders as part of the historic Khalil Mack deal.
