Arlington Hambright, a guard with the National Football League’s New England Patriots, was born on January 30, 1996. At Colorado, he played collegiate football.
Hambright played his first two years of collegiate football at Garden City Community College after graduating from Belleville as a non-star recruit. He later changed schools to Oklahoma State, where he redshirted for a year before having his eligibility revoked due to injury. Hambright completed his undergraduate career at Colorado.
The Chicago Bears selected Hambright in the seventh round (226th overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft after trading two first-round picks (Josh Jacobs and Damon Arnette) to the Las Vegas Raiders as part of the historic Khalil Mack deal.
On July 21, he agreed to a four-year rookie contract with the group. In Week 8, he participated in Special Teams’ NFL debut against the New Orleans Saints. The following week, he started his first NFL game against the Tennessee Titans.
Hambright was released by the Bears on August 31, 2021, and the following day he was re-signed to the practice squad.
