Armani Rogers is a tight end for the National Football League’s Washington Commanders. He stands 1.96 m tall and weighs 102 kg. He attended and played high school football at Alexander Hamilton High School, where as a senior, he passed for 1,433 yards and 18 touchdowns and ran for 431 yards and six more.
He committed to attend the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), where he played college football for the UNLV Rebels football team, and was rated a three-star prospect coming out of high school. He redshirted his true freshman year and made nine starts as a redshirt freshman.
In order to continue his graduate studies and play football with the Ohio Bobcats, he relocated to Ohio University in 2020. He mostly took part in offensive package plays during his first season in Ohio, rushing for 114 yards and two touchdowns while also throwing for 48 yards and one score. Taking advantage of the extra year of eligibility granted to college athletes in 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 epidemic, Rogers returned to Ohio for a second season.
He was utilized in offensive packages during the course of the season and started two games at quarterback. With 552 yards gained on the ground and 7 touchdowns, he concluded the year with 334 yards throwing. In May 2022, as an undrafted free agent, he signed with the Washington Commanders.
