Avery Williams is an American football running back who currently plays for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League.
Williams was born on July 15, 1998. He attended Boise State University for his college football career. On July 15, 1998, Williams was welcomed into the world by parents Pam Veasey and Marvin Williams.
He spent his childhood in Pasadena, California, and went to Saint Francis High School before moving on to JSerra Catholic High School just before entering his senior year. He grew up in Pasadena.
Williams has voted the Trinity League Co-Most Valuable Player as a senior after he rushed for 1,175 yards and 14 touchdowns on offence while playing the running back position.
Williams was also selected for All-Area honours while playing the defensive back position. After being offered a spot on the Boise State football team as a preferred walk-on despite the fact that he had received no
scholarship offers to play college football, he decided to enrol at the school.
Williams was chosen as the first team of All-Americans as an all-purpose player by the coaches and was also tied for the record for most return touchdowns in an NCAA Division I career with nine.
He returned 19 kickoffs for a total of 533 yards and two touchdowns as a senior, in addition to 15 punts for a total of 229 yards and two scores.
In addition, he was responsible for 49 tackles, 11 pass deflections, two interceptions, and three forced fumbles, and scored a touchdown by returning a kickoff for a touchdown.
In 2017, as Williams was participating in preseason training, he was presented with a scholarship.
