As an offensive tackle with the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League, Badara Traore participates in professional football. He is 2.01 m tall and weighs 148 kg. He was a member of the football and basketball teams at Matignon High School. After graduating from high school, he played collegiate football for two seasons at ASA Collegiate.
He transferred to Louisiana State University and resumed his football career there with the LSU Tigers. During his first season at LSU, he took part in all 13 games, starting two of them. In his last season, he played in 13 games. He graduated from Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies in 2020.
After the 2020 NFL Draft, Traore became an undrafted free agent and was signed by the Chicago Bears in April of that year. He was let go by the Bears on August 24, 2021.
The Jacksonville Jaguars took him off waivers the following day. His NFL debut was against the Indianapolis Colts on January 9, 2022. On January 10, 2022, he agreed to a reserve/future contract. He was cut go by the Jaguars in August 2022. After signing a contract with them, Traore joined the Arizona Cardinals practice squad in September 2022.
