He made a transfer to Louisiana State University, where he played football for the LSU Tigers. He participated in every game in his debut year at LSU, starting two of the 13 contests. Traore was signed by the Chicago Bears in April 2020 as an undrafted free agent following the 2020 NFL Draft. The day after his release on September 5, 2020, he was added to the practice squad. He and the Bears reached a reserve/futures agreement in January 2021. On August 24, 2021, he was let go by the Bears. The following day, the Jacksonville Jaguars claimed him off of waivers.
