Badara Traore participates in professional football as an offensive tackle for the National Football League’s Arizona Cardinals. He stands 2.01 m tall and weighs 148 kg. He participated on the basketball and football teams at Matignon High School. He attended ASA Collegiate after high school, where he played college football for two seasons.
He kept playing football for the LSU Tigers after transferring to Louisiana State University. He participated in all 13 games during his first year at LSU, starting two of them. In 13 games during his final season, he participated. He earned a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from Louisiana State University in 2020.
In April 2020, the Chicago Bears signed Traore as an undrafted free agent following the 2020 NFL Draft. The following day, on September 5, 2020, he was signed up for the practice squad. He signed a reserve/futures contract with the Bears in January 2021. August 24, 2021 was the day of his release from the Bears. The next day, he was claimed off waivers by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
His NFL debut took place on January 9, 2022, against the Indianapolis Colts. A reserve/future contract was signed by him on January 10, 2022. In August 2022, the Jaguars cut him loose. In September 2022, after signing a contract with them, Traore joined the Arizona Cardinals practice squad.
