Bailey Zappe Parents: Meet Sammie Zappe and Michael Zappe

Bailey Zappe, full name Bailey Michael Zappe is one of the professional football quarterbacks with the New England Patriots football team. He has a height of 1.85 meters. He was drafted by the Patriots during the 2022 NFL Draft. He signed with them and began his professional career that season.



He played high school football Victoria East High School. As a senior, he rushed for 633 yards and 15 touchdowns while also completing 37 passes for 3,770 yards and an additional 37 scores. Zappe selected Houston Baptist University as his only option after obtaining a small number of scholarship offers. He played there with the Houston Baptist Huskies from 2017 until 2020. Zappe started nine games in his first year at Houston Baptist, threw for 1,548 yards, five touchdowns, and 10 interceptions, and ran for two more scores.

His junior year saw him complete 357 of 560 passes for 3,811 yards, 35 touchdowns, and 15 interceptions. As a senior, he played in four games and completed 1,833 passes for 1,833 yards, 15 touchdowns, and one interception. He transferred to Western Kentucky University to play football with the Hilltoppers and get his degree. In 2021, the Hilltoppers chose him to start at quarterback.

Prior to the 2021 Boca Raton Bowl, he had over 1,100 more passing yards than the quarterback of the next-ranked FBS team (Will Rogers of Mississippi State), With 5,967 passing yards and 62 touchdowns for the entire year, he shattered both records in the Boca Raton Bowl game against the Appalachian State Mountaineers in 2021.
