After completing his education at the University of Georgia, where he participated in college football for the Bulldogs, and being selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the third round of the NFL Draft in the year 2021, he moved on to play professional football.

Cleveland did not enroll in any classes during his first year as an actual freshman in college.

As a redshirt freshman, he played in all 15 of Georgia’s games and started the final five, including the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship game. He also received a starting position in the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship game.

He was given a spot on the All-SEC Rookie Team honors. Cleveland was healthy enough to start eight games during his redshirt sophomore season, but he ended up missing six games due to an injury.

During his junior year, he wore a redshirt and played in 13 games, with seven of those games starting at right guard. During Cleveland’s senior year at Georgia, he started every game at right guard and played the majority of the snaps.
