Ben Powers is an offensive guard for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League. He stands 1.93 meters tall and weighs 141 kilograms. He was born in Wichita, Kansas, a city in the United States. He attended Kapaun Mt. Carmel for both his high school education and football career.
During his time there, he placed second in the state wrestling finals and earned varsity letters in football and wrestling. He participated in both the offensive and defensive lines while a high school student.
He studied for a year at Butler Community College after high school. He went on to Butler University, where he played collegiate football for the Oklahoma Sooners. Powers garnered unanimous first-team All-America recognition for the 2018 football season.
In the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, Baltimore selected him. He was added to the Ravens’ active roster before to beginning his rookie campaign on the inactive list for the first sixteen games. In Week 17 of the current season, he made his NFL debut, spending the majority of the Ravens’ victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers at right guard.
