American professional baseball pitcher Blake Michael Taylor was born in the United States on August 17, 1995. He now plays for the Houston Astros of Major League Baseball (MLB) and also for the Great Britain national baseball team.
During the 2013 Major League Baseball draft, the Pittsburgh Pirates selected Taylor in the second round of selections. He made his MLB debut in 2020.
Taylor’s high school was located in Dana Point, California, and it was called Dana Hills. In the 2013 Major League Baseball draft, the Pittsburgh Pirates selected Taylor with the 51st overall pick in the draft’s second round.
Taylor made his debut in the professional ranks with the GCL Pirates in 2013, pitching 21 innings and posting a record of 0–2 with a 2.57 earned run average.
