Braden Mann is a professional football player with the New York Jets of the National Football League. He played football for the school’s football team when a student at Cy-Fair High School in Cypress, Texas, where he was coached by former Texas A&M football player Ed Pustejovsky.



Mann made 46 of 48 extra points and 7 of 10 field goals during his junior year. He was a member of the Greater Houston Chronicle All-Star squad in 2014. He converted 25 of 25 extra point attempts as a senior, and on 41 punts, he averaged 45 yards. He participated in the Under Armour All-America Game following his senior year. After getting his degree, he played football for Texas A&M University.

The majority of Mann’s first two years at Texas A&M were spent as the kickoff specialist. He is the 10th player from Texas A&M to be selected by all five NCAA-recognized selectors (AP, AFCA, FWAA, Sporting News, and WCFF). For becoming the best collegiate punter in the country, he was given the Ray Guy Award. He was selected by the New York Jets with the 191st overall choice in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.



Mann’s total yardage during that season was 3,598, and his punting average was 43.9. He currently holds the NFL record with 3,598 punting yards overall. He was put on injured reserve in September 2021, and on November 13 of same year, he was released.
