Professional footballer Braden Mann is a kick off specialist and punts for the National Football League’s New York Jets. He played football for the school’s football team when a student at Cy-Fair High School in Cypress, Texas, where he was coached by former Texas A&M football player Ed Pustejovsky. Mann made 46 of 48 extra points and 7 of 10 field goals in his junior season.



He was a member of the Greater Houston Chronicle All-Star squad in 2014. As a senior, he converted 25 of 25 extra point attempts and punted 41 times, averaging 45 yards. He participated in the Under Armour All-America Game following his senior year. After graduating from Texas A&M University, he played collegiate football there.

Mann served as the kickoff specialist for the bulk of his first two years at Texas A&M. He was chosen by all five NCAA-recognized selectors, making him the 10th Texas A&M player to attain the distinction (AP, AFCA, FWAA, Sporting News, and WCFF). He was also named the best collegiate punter in the country, winning the Ray Guy Award.



The New York Jets selected him with the 191st overall choice in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Mann gained 3,598 yards in all during that calendar year, and his punting average was 43.9. He leads the NFL in punting yards in 2020 with 3,598 overall. He was put on injured reserve in September 2021, and on November 13 of that same year, he was activated.
