For his four punts against the Dallas Cowboys in the season opener, which led to a close 31-29 victory, he was named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week. His average was 49.3 yards. In June 2022, he was released by the Buccaneers. He was purchased on June 30, 2022, by the Atlanta Falcons.
