Bradley Clarke Zimmer is an American professional baseball center fielder who currently plays for the Toronto Blue Jays of Major League Baseball.
Zimmer was born on November 27, 1992, in the United States (MLB). He received his education at the University of San Francisco, where he was a member of the collegiate baseball club known as the San Francisco Dons.
In the first round of the 2014 Major League Baseball Draft, the Cleveland Indians selected him, and he made his debut in Major League Baseball in 2017.
Zimmer went to high school in San Diego, California, at La Jolla High School, where he participated in baseball and was on the school’s varsity squad.
In the 2011 Major League Baseball (MLB) Draft, the Chicago Cubs picked Zimmer in the 23rd round with the 699th overall pick. However, Zimmer did not sign with the Cubs after being selected by the Cubs.
After deciding that he wanted to play collegiate baseball, Zimmer enrolled at the University of San Francisco (USF), which is home to the San Francisco Dons baseball club.
In 2013, he participated in collegiate summer baseball with the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod Baseball League.
