Breece Hall is a running back for the New York Jets of the National Football League. At Iowa State University, where he played college football, he was recognized as the Offensive Player of the Year for the Big 12 Conference on two separate occasions. In the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft, Hall was selected by the Jets to join their team.
Hall spent his childhood in Wichita, Kansas, and received his high school education at Wichita Northwest. After rushing for 2,082 yards and scoring 36 total touchdowns during his junior season, Hall was named to the first teams of both the All-Metro and All-State teams.
In his last year of high school, Hall was selected to the first team All-State and was honored as the Wichita Metro Player of the Year. He finished his career with 2,127 rushing yards and 29 touchdowns.
Hall took over as the lead running back for Iowa State during his true freshman season after David Montgomery left the school to pursue a career in the National Football League.
After rushing for 132 yards and scoring three touchdowns in a victory over West Virginia by a score of 38–14, he was named a co-Newcomer of the Week.
