As soon as Rodgers got signed, he was assigned to the Pioneer League’s Rookie-level Grand Junction Rockies.
With three home runs and 20 RBIs in 37 games throughout the course of the full season in 2015, he hit .273.
Rogers was promoted to Low-A Asheville for the 2016 season and pleased manager Warren Schaeffer by batting .358 with seven home runs and 27 RBI in the South Atlantic League season’s opening month of action.
On May 7, he hit his first professional grand slam in an Asheville-Delmarva Shorebirds 16–7 triumph. His career batting average was .281 with 19 home runs and 73 RBI in 442 at-bats in 110 games in Asheville.
With the Hartford Yard Goats and the Lancaster Jethawks, he compiled a.336 average, 18 home runs, and 64 RBIs in 89 games last year.
While playing with Hartford and the Isotopes of Albuquerque, he had an average of 268 at bats with 17 home runs in 114 games in 2018.
He returned to Albuquerque at the start of the new season. His contract was selected on May 17th, and he was promoted to the major leagues the following day. That night, he made his major league debut against the Philadelphia Phillies.
The Rockies’ 2020 season was cut short by the pandemic, and Rodgers only played in seven games before going on the injured list with persistent difficulties in his right shoulder.
