One of the professional baseball players with the Colorado Rockies baseball team is Brendan Austin Rodgers. He is of American descent and plays as an infielder for the Colorado Rockies. He has a height of 1.83 m and weighs 92 kg.

He was born on August 9, 1996, in Winter Park, Florida in the USA. He grew up playing on youth baseball teams in his birth town. He attended Lake Mary High School where he played baseball for the school’s baseball team. After high school, he wanted to play college baseball at the Florida State University for the Florida State Seminoles but chose to sign with the Colorado Rockies when they drafted him in the 2015 MLB Draft.

He signed with the Rockies for a $5.5 million signing bonus and began his professional baseball career that season with the Grand Junction Rockies, a Rookie-level team in the Pioneer League. The Rockies promoted him in the 2016 season to the Low-A Asheville Tourists.

He spent the 2017  season playing with both the Lancaster JetHawks and the Hartford Yard Goats. The Rockies promoted him to the major leagues for the first time in May 2019 and he made his MLB debut on May 17, that year.
