Brent Suter is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball (MLB).
In 2013 and 2015, Suter was named a MiLB.com Organization All-Star. On August 19, 2016, Suter became the Brewers’ first left-handed starter in 474 games when he made his major league debut.
On August 28, 2013, Tom Gorzelanny was the last person to speak. A 7-6 loss against the Seattle Mariners was Brent’s result after he surrendered four runs in 4 1/3 innings of work.
His record was 2-2, 3.32 over 14 appearances, with two starts. As a starting pitcher, he went 3-2 in 22 appearances last year, with a 3.42 earned run average in 14 of those outings. He threw 81 2/3 innings and fanned 64 people in the process.
On May 8, 2018, he accomplished something that had previously been unheard of for a relief pitcher: he hit his first career home run. In an interleague game against the Cleveland Indians, he relieved Wade Miley, who had to exit the game due to injury.
His no-doubt 433rd home run to center field in the third inning of a 3-2 Brewers victory over Cleveland ace Corey Kluber was the highlight of his four-and-a-half innings of work. His high school days were when he hadn’t hit a home homer.
