Britain Covey is a wide receiver and return specialist for the Philadelphia Eagles in the National Football League. He was born on March 18, 1997.
He attended the University of Utah for his NCAA football career before being picked up by the Eagles in 2022 as an undrafted free agent.
In addition to leading his team to back-to-back state championships, he was recognized as the Utah Valley Football Player of the Year on two separate occasions.
He threw for a total of 56 touchdowns and tossed for 44 touchdowns while also running for 2904 yards and scoring 44 touchdowns as a runner. In total, he had 4492 passing yards and 2904 rushing yards.
Despite only starting his first two years of high school football, Covey concluded his career ranked fourth in Utah high school history in touchdowns scored with 111.
Pro Football Focus recognized Covey as a freshman All-America receiver in their publication. Because he was on a mission for the LDS church in Chile, he was absent for the 2016 and 2017 seasons.
During the 2018 season, he started four games and played in a total of thirteen. He was recognized as a first-team all-conference returner after recording 221 punt return yards and 144 kick return yards.
