According to a statement released by the Ravens, he is the first player to formally sign his rookie deal since it was announced earlier today.
The slot estimates provided by Over The Cap suggest that the graduate of Texas Tech will sign a contract that is four years long and worth close to $3.6 million.
In comparison, the Ravens’ first-round linebacker Patrick Queen, who was selected with the 28th overall choice, is scheduled to make a total of $12.16 million over the course of the same four years.
In order to further bolster the Ravens’ interior line, the team selected Washington two rounds after selecting Justin Madubuike from Texas A&M.
