Bryan Patrick Reynolds is a Major League Baseball outfielder with the Pittsburgh Pirates of the American professional baseball league known as Major League Baseball (MLB).

Reynolds was taken by the San Francisco Giants with the 59th overall choice in the 2016 Major League Baseball draft.

He played collegiate baseball for the Vanderbilt Commodores. In 2018, the Giants made the transaction that sent him to the Pirates.



He debuted in Major League Baseball in 2019, and by 2021 he had earned All-Star honours. Reynolds was drafted by the Giants in the 2016 MLB second round.

His professional debut was with the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes. He joined the Augusta GreenJackets. Reynolds batted.313 with six home runs, 38 RBIs, and an.847 OPS in 56 games between Salem-Keizer and Augusta.

In 121 games with the San Jose Giants, he batted.312 with 10 home runs and 63 RBIs.  He played in the 2017 Futures Game.

After hitting.189/.275/.357 with seven home runs and 19 RBIs in 55 games, Reynolds was awarded the National League Rookie of the Year in 2019.

He was one of two Pirates named for the 2021 All-Star Game, where he batted seventh and started in centre field. Reynolds avoided arbitration by signing a two-year contract with the Pittsburgh Pirates on April 14, 2022.

Reynolds was promised $13.5 million under the pact.
