Bryan Shaw’s full name is Bryan Anthony Shaw. He is an American born professional baseball player known to play as a pitcher for the Cleveland Indians baseball team of Major League Baseball(MLB). Bryan has a height of 1.85 m and a  weight of 95 kg.

He was born and raised in Livermore California on November 8, 1987. He then attended Livermore High School in Livermore, California where he played baseball for the school team. After high school, he enrolled at the California State University, Long Beach and played college baseball for the Long Beach State Dirtbags baseball team.

Bryan also played collegiate summer baseball with the Chatham A’s of the Cape Cod Baseball League whiles at the University in 2007. In 2008, he was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 2nd round of the 2008 MLB draft.

He played in minor leagues for the Diamondbacks till 2011 when the Diamondbacks promoted him to the major leagues. He made his MLB debut on June 10, 2011. The Diamondbacks traded him to the Cleveland Indians in 2012.

The Colorado Rockies signed a three-year contract worth $27 million with Bryan in December 2017. In July 2020, Bryan left the Rockies and signed a one-year deal with the Seattle Mariners. A year later, he signed a minor league contract with the Cleveland Indians.
