Bryce Harper is an American professional baseball right fielder for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Bryce’s older brother, Bryan Harper is an American former professional baseball pitcher. Harper spent eight seasons in the Washington Nationals organization.

He was selected in the 2008 Major League Baseball draft in the 31st round by the Washington Nationals, but he chose not to sign.

Bryan is an alumnus of Las Vegas High School and California State University, Northridge.

He spent his last baseball career with the Lancaster Barnstormers of the independent Atlantic League of Professional Baseball and became a free agent following the season.
