C.J. Mosley Parents: Meet Clinton Mosley and Tracy Mosley

The New York Jets of the National Football League are well-known for having linebacker C. J. Mosley on their roster. He is 113 kg and 1.88 m tall. He participated in basketball, track, and football at Theodore High School. He had 112 tackles, four sacks, and one interception as a sophomore.

He was the sixth-ranked outside linebacker prospect in a class that also featured Christian Jones and Jordan Hicks, two five-star players. The recruiting website Rivals.com gave him a four-star rating. He enrolled in the University of Alabama after finishing high school and played NCAA football for the Alabama Crimson Tide there.

The FWAA, Rivals.com, and College Football News all unanimously selected him a Freshman All-American during his true freshman season with the Crimson Tide. He was chosen for the Southeastern Conference’s first team during his senior year (SEC). The Baltimore Ravens selected him in the opening round of the 2014 NFL Draft.



In May 2014, Mosley and the Ravens agreed to a four-year, $8.87 million deal that featured a $4.71 million signing bonus. He agreed to a $85 million, five-year deal with the New York Jets in March 2019. In his first game for the Jets, he recorded five tackles and intercepted a pass from Josh Allen, which he later returned for a score.
