Canadian professional baseball player Cal Paul Quantrill plays baseball for the Cleveland Guardians as a pitcher. He is 94 kg in weight and 1.90 meters tall. The team pays him an average salary of $2,510,00 each year.

He played baseball for Trinity College School in Port Hope, Ontario. After graduating from high school, the New York Yankees selected him in the 26th round of the 2013 Major League Baseball Draft; however, he chose not to sign with them and instead opted to attend Stanford University to play baseball in college.

The San Diego Padres selected him with the ninth overall pick in the 2016 MLB Draft. In his first year as a professional, he joined them and played for the Arizona Padres. He was promoted to the Tri-City Dust Devils and then the Fort Wayne TinCaps throughout the season.

During the 2017 season, he was assigned to play for the Lake Elsinore Storm and the San Antonio Missions. During the 2018 minor league season, he played for San Antonio and the Padres’ Triple-A affiliate El Paso Chihuahuas. He was promoted to the major leagues in 2019 and made his MLB debut on May 1 of that same year. His contract was purchased by the Cleveland Guardians in August 2020 from the Padres.
