Baseball America, Louisville Slugger, the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association, and Perfect Game all named him to their respective Freshman All-America teams in 2016.

Cal enrolled back at Florida State University in the fall of 2019 to finish up his degree in business entrepreneurship. He is on track to receive his diploma in the winter of 2020.

Meet Emma Grace, Carley, and Todd Jr

Emma Grace, Carley, and Todd Jr are the siblings of the Mariner’s catcher. According to Cal, his siblings and family have been supportive of his career.

Raleigh had plenty of support in the stadium on July 11, 2021, from family members who made the cross-country trip to Seattle on short notice. His sisters and brother all showed up, which was a wonderful experience.

During Cal’s debut, Emma Grace, Carley, and Todd Jr were seen in a family portrait together.
