Calais Campbell Parents: Meet Charles Campbell and National Campbell

Calais Malik Campbell is an American football defensive end who plays for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League.

Campbell was born on September 1, 1986. (NFL). After participating in collegiate football at the University of Miami, he was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the second round of the NFL Draft in the year 2008.

In high school, Campbell attended South High School in Denver, Colorado, where he participated in both football and basketball.



During the course of his career, he amassed 57 sacks, which is a new record for the state. Campbell chose Miami over a number of other schools, including Colorado State, Nebraska, Louisiana State, Michigan, Oklahoma, and San Diego State. Campbell first saw playing time at Miami in the 2005 season.

In 11 games, he recorded 24 total tackles, 2.5 sacks, and three passes defended. In the 2006 season, he had 55 total tackles, 10.5 sacks, four passes defended, and three forced fumbles.

Campbell was named to the All-ACC During the 2006 season, he had three different games in which he recorded at least three sacks in a single contest.

In his final season with the Hurricanes in 2007, he finished with 50 total tackles, 6.5 sacks, three passes defensed, and one interception, which came against Marshall in the first game of the season.

In the United States, Campbell’s parents, Charles and Nateal, gave birth to him in Denver, Colorado.   His parent has given birth to seven other children in addition to him.

Kimba Blaylock and Keyonne Campbell are his two sisters, and he has five brothers: Jamar, Raj, Ciarre, Severin, and Jared.

At the end of 2003, his father, Charles Campbell, passed away. Both of his brothers, Ciarre and Raj, participated in college football, with Ciarre attending Colorado State University and Raj playing for Butte Junior College. The University of Montana was where his brother Severin participated in athletics.
