A professional football player for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League, Cameron Thomas is an outside linebacker. He is 1.96 m tall and 122 kg in weight. He attended San Diego State University after graduating from high school, where he played three seasons of collegiate football for the San Diego State Aztecs.

A three-time first-team Mountain West Conference selection, he concluded his college career as an All-American.
In addition, he had 155 tackles, 21.0 sacks, 39.0 tackles for loss, three interceptions, one forced fumble, and played in 36 games with 34 starts. In the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft, Thomas was selected by the Arizona Cardinals from San Diego State with the 87th overall pick.
